POG Values: the HELM Method
POG’s every decision comes back to the POG values, and uses the “HELM” method.
We ask: Is the decision: Honest, Ethical, Legal and Moral?
With this as the framework, we do our best to make the best decision we can in every situation, considering the parties and situation involved.
Money is one of those areas that is many times compromised and is the reason why we disclose to the theatre owners with a detailed commission report showing what we take in from advertising, the commission rate and the resulting commission amount. The first check we write every month is to our theatre owners. Without them, we would not be in business. We consider that we are partners with the theatre.
And so, we believe “What’s good for the theatre is good for POG.”
The second check we write is to our talented team members. We are very proud of the professional team God has assembled for POG and we strive to treat them just as we would like to be treated. We do our best to create an office atmosphere of trust and openness and with a grace-based, not a fear-based philosophy.
